More than 1,650 students earned academic honors from Kansas State University for their academic achievements during the spring 2006 semester. Graduation honors were awarded to 232 May 2006 graduates.
Students receiving academic honors for the semester rank in the top 10 percent of their class within their respective colleges and were enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of graded course work.
Graduates earning summa cum laude from K-State completed their studies with an academic average of 3.95 or higher. The remaining students in the upper three percent of the college graduating class were designated magna cum laude. Those remaining in the upper 10 percent graduated cum laude.
Frank Male, Eudora, earned academic honors for the 2006 spring semester.
Nancy Milleret, Linwood, earned semester honors and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical technology.
Eudora High School graduate Andrea Ahrens graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
