— Charlie and Pat Shawbaker and their granddaughter Michala took Tillie Bichelmeyer to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie Friday evening for a fish fry.

Tillie Bichelmeyer's niece and her husband Arlene and Jack Udelhofen of Ottawa visited her Sunday afternoon.

Tammy Bramlett, De Soto, visited her grandmother Elsie Mathia Saturday afternoon.

Rocky and Betty Mason and Ruth Wilson played cards Sunday evening with Elsie Mathia.

Bertie Morriss attended the second birthday celebration for her great-grandson Kurtis McCormick at the home of his parents, Kurtis and Misty McCormick. Lots of relatives and friends enjoyed the party Sunday afternoon.

Gina Thompkin and her son Mason, Lone Jack, Mo., visited their mother and grandmother Clarice Morris Saturday.

Clarice Morriss spent Saturday evening with Kenneth and Alta Vorhies.

My daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick and my great-great-granddaughter Aftyn Hankins took me to the Platinum variety show put on by the Eudora High School choral department Friday evening.

My grandson Richard Steffen, Surprise, Ariz., called me to tell me he had caught a 10-1/4 pound bass in a bass fishing contest. He said the largest one caught was 11 pounds. The winner won a bass boat and money.
I was feeling sorry he didn't win, but he made my day when he said, "That's OK grandma, I'm glad he won."
He said he divided his prize money with his wife.
