Heather Coffey, Lawrence, and Rocky Mason visited Elsie Mathia Sunday afternoon.

Tillie Bichelmeyer received word of the death of her sister-in-law Rose Bichelmeyer McKemy on May 12. Rose lived in Monterrey Park, Calif.

Tillie Bichelmeyer, Emma Jean Taylor, Valerie Richardson and Ellen Moll, Lenexa, and Julia Polfer, Overland Park, all had lunch and played pinochle Tuesday at the home of Jan Kelly in Overland Park.

Gertrude Coon spent Mother's Day at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Steve and Sue Coon in Baldwin City. Other guests were Scott and Jenny Coon and Haley, Lawrence; and Stephanie Coon and sons Stephan Moore and Tyler Meyers, Baldwin City.

Gina Thompkins and her son Mason, Lone Jack, Mo., took her mother, Clarice Morriss out for dinner on Sunday. They also brought her flowers.

Allen and Cherylene Morriss and Katrina and Hannah took his mother, Bertie Morriss, out for dinner for Mother's Day.

Travis and Brandi McCormick took a Mother's Day dinner to the home of his parents, Price and Merlene McCormick, Sunday evening to honor his mother, Merlene, and his grandmother, Bertie Morriss. Other guests were Kevin and Anna McCormick, Lawrence.

Shirley Cummings, Olathe, and Darlene Randel took their mother, Elva Jordan, out for dinner Sunday in honor of Mother's Day.

Joe and Marty Bichelmeyer, Shawnee, took Tillie Bichelmeyer to church Sunday and then to Bichelmeyer's Steakhouse in Tonganoxie for dinner.

Ten ladies from the Eudora United Methodist Church attended a brunch Saturday at Wellsville United Methodist church.
Those attending were Clarice Morriss, Gloria Bagby, Loretta Gantenbein, Doris Oelschlaeger, Elva Kindred, Fern Long, JoAnn Becker, Rita Conner and myself.

My son Dudley Steffen, Gravois Mills, Mo., visited me Monday afternoon after having lunch with his uncle and aunt Howard and Carol Belles in Lawrence and visiting with his cousin Debbie Mudrock, Norwalk, Calif., who is visiting her parents.

My daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick, Linwood, took Clarice Morriss and I to Annie's Country Jubilee Friday evening at the Eudora Middle School.
The event was the start of raising money for the Eudora Fish statue for the city's sesquicentennial in 2007.

I was a dinner guest at the home of my daughter and son-in-law Sharon and LaVerne Musick, Linwood.
Other guests were Donald Musick and my great-great-grandchildren Aftyn, Trinity and Duncan.
