Life Skills students earn medals

The Eudora High School Life Skills class and sophomore Nima Jafari competed April 18 in the 2007 Job Olympics at Johnson County Community College.

Rosa Long, Annie Jessup, Ashley Coleman and Nima Jafari competed in the contest and teamed up with six other students from Baldwin and Wellsville.

The ECKCE team took third place overall in the division II category.

Individual event winners were Rosa Long, first in check writing; Annie Jessup, first in check grade writing and first in role play; Ashley Coleman, second in making change; and Nima Jafari, first in job application advanced and third in check writing advanced.
