Scholars’ Bowl
The Eudora High School Scholars Bowl team of Justin Male, Dustin True, JoAnna Male and Jacob Cox took second at the league tournament Jan. 10. Gardner Edgerton took first.
Justin Male led the team with 310 points. True had 150. Cox finished with 130 and JoAnna Male had 50

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
