Birth: Faith SueAnn Burrous
Jason and Heather Burrous, De Soto, announce the birth of their daughter, Faith SueAnn Burrous, on Friday, July 6, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Faith weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Grandparents are David and Debbie Burrous and Joe and Linda Melley, all of De Soto.
Great-grandparents are Vernie and Karen Young, Kansas City, Kan., and Betty Bentsen, De Soto.
Faith's great-great-grandparents are Bernadine O'Neal, Eudora, and Lewis and Christine Mason, Sulphur Rock, Ark.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
