EHS parent meetings
Parent meetings for athletes planning to go out for fall sports in high school will take place at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in the commons area at Eudora High School, 2203 Church St.
All parents are encouraged to attend.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
