Obituary: Lois E. Snyder
Services for Lois E. Snyder, 87, were Monday, Feb. 26, at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary Chapel in Phoenix, Ariz.
Mrs. Snyder died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in Phoenix.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1920, in Eudora, the daughter of Cham and Corabel (McBride) Williamson. She graduated from Eudora High School in 1937. She attended Kansas State University and Emporia State Teachers College.
Mrs. Snyder taught for two years at Hopewell and one year at Roscoe, each one-room schoolhouses. She and her husband also owned a print shop in Phoenix.
She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.
She married Fred E. Snyder on April 25, 1942. He died July 4, 2001.
Survivors include a son, John Snyder, Prescott, Ariz.; two daughters, Cheryl Adamson and Dianne Corp, both of Phoenix; a sister, Jean Gabriel, Eudora; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
