Obituary: Lucille W. Warmker
Funeral services for Lucille W. Warmker, 90, Eudora, were Wednesday, May 30, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary's Eudora Chapel. Private family interment services will be at Eudora Cemetery.
Mrs. Warmker died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 18, 1917, in Lawrence, the daughter of Fred J. and Leoti Kohler Walker. She was a graduate of Eudora High School.
Mrs. Warmker worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone. She also worked at Wilson Grocery Store in Eudora and J.C. Penney and Weaver's Department Store, both in Lawrence. She was a member of Eudora United Methodist Church.
She married Raymond Warmker on Sept. 3, 1938, in Topeka. He died in September 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Don Warmker, Eudora, and Gary Warmker, Leawood; and one grandson.
The family suggests memorials to the Eudora Nursing Center, sent in care of the mortuary in Lawrence or Eudora.
