Chancel choir
The Eudora United Methodist Church Chancel Choir will have its next rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Kruger residence, 826 E. 12th St. Men especially are needed to join.
The choir sings at the 10:30 a.m. services of Eudora UMC, which meets each Sunday at Warren-McElwain Chapel on East 10th Street on Douglas County Road 442.
Participants do not need to be a member of Eudora United Methodist Church to join the choir.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
