Death: Lenore Rohe
Mass of Christian Burial for Lenore Rohe, 88, Wichita, was Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Burial was in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Eudora.
Mrs. Rohe died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at Catholic Care Center in Wichita.
She was born Nov. 18, 1919, in St. Louis, the daughter of Henry Jetson and Anna Von Fahrendorf Irvin. She was a longtime resident of Eudora.
Mrs. Rohe worked as a riveter during World War II. She also worked as a telephone operator and later as a saleswoman for many department stores. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Theresa's Altar Society.
She married Henry R. Rohe on Nov. 24, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan. He died March 31, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Ann Winkle, Wichita; a son, Irvin Henry Rohe, Camden, Del.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
