Sermon series

The Eudora United Methodist Church will finish its sermon series Sunday, "He Touched Me Just As I Am" led by the Rev. Michael Tomson-DeGreeff.

Tomson-DeGreeff will have a new four-week sermon series on Virgil Brady's book "Believe the Unbelievable, Faith in the Face of Diversity" beginning Sept. 16.

He also will lead a discussion group about the book at 9:15 a.m. Sundays beginning Sept. 16, through Oct. 7. The group will follow the topics to go along with the sermons. Books will be available for purchase at the first session.

The series includes "Who is Jesus Christ" Sept. 16; "How Do We Read the Bible?" Sept. 23; "What is the Purpose of your Life," Sept 30; and "How to Be a Lover."

The sermon series will take place at Warren-McElwain Mortuary/Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Drive, east on 10th Street on Douglas County Road 442.

The public is invited to participate in any of the sermons or discussions.
