Wedding: Divis-Fulks

Jenny Divis, Colon, Neb., and Mark Fulks, Eudora, married Saturday, July 7, 2007, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Colon, Neb., with the Rev. Matthew Vandewalle officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James and Linda Divis, Colon, Neb., and the granddaughter of Ella and Orvil Petersen, North Bend, Neb., and Rita Divis, Wahoo, Neb.

The groom is the son of Roger and Bernadette Fulks, Eudora, and the grandson of Tom and Alberta Pyle, Eudora, and EL and Carol Fulks, Edinburg, Texas.

Matron of honor was Mikki Sciba. Best man was Paul Fulks, brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Tammie Ondracek, Theresa Fulks and Maria Fulks, sisters of the groom, Lisa Bartunek and Lynze Divis, sisters of the bride, Shelby Walters, and Sydney Swartz.

Groomsmen were John Fulks, Matthew Fulks, Phillip Fulks, brothers of the groom, Andrew Pyle and Michael Pyle, cousins of the groom, and Francis Thoennes.

Ushers were James Ondracek and Jacob Bartunek, brothers-in-law of the bride, Anthony Ondracek, nephew of the bride, Christopher Pyle, cousin of the groom, and John Thoennes.

Flower girl was Kya Swartz. Ring bearer was Kamdyn Swartz.

Maggie Fort, aunt of the bride, was the bride's assistant.

A reception, hosted by Mike and Vicki Murren and Joe and Andrea Pyle, was given at the Love Larson Opera House in Fremont, Neb.

The bride graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo, Neb., in 2001. She graduated from Benedictine College in 2005. She is currently working on a master's degree in analytical chemistry at Kansas University. She also is a teaching assistant at KU.

The groom graduated from Eudora High School in 2004. He joined the United States Marine Corps Reserves in 2004 and is stationed in Topeka.
