Youth football and cheerleading registrations

The Eudora Youth Football and Cheerleading Association will have sign-ups from 6 to 8 p.m April 17 and from 9 a.m. to noon April 18 at the Eudora Community Center, 1630 Elm St.
Fundraiser packets will be handed out to help offset the fees. A $25 deposit will be due at the time of registration.
Forms can also be downloaded from the association’s Web site at www.eyfca.com.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
