EudoraFest update

The theme for the 13th annual EudoraFest, which will be Oct. 3, is “Are you feeling lucky?”
New this year to the celebration in downtown Eudora will be a parade.
There are still openings in the parade lineup. Floats, decorated bicycles, antique cars or trucks and marching bands are eligible to be in the parade. No animals of any kind will be allowed and the deadline to register is Sept. 30

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
