The Eudora Cardinals entered the state tournament playing their best baseball of the season. But the Cardinals’ season ended with a 7-5 loss to Pratt Friday in Sabetha.

Eudora lost to Doniphan County in the first round Thursday, 3-2, and facing elimination battled hard but came up just short against Pratt.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?

As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
