EHS and EMS band members recognized
November 25, 2009
Several Eudora middle and High School students that have been selected for district honor band.
The following eighth grade students were selected for the NEKMEA Seventh-/Eighth-Grade District Honor Band: Mason Kelso (clarinet), Alyssa Blaisdell (flute) and Justin Leonard (trombone).
The following ninth grade students were also selected for the NEKMEA Ninth-Grade District Honor Band: Cole Hutchins (clarinet), Valerie Pringle (horn) and Hunter Trefz (tuba).
These students perform at Blue Valley High School on Dec. 5th.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
