After community-based Eudora vendors felt out-of-town vendors were infringing upon their business during this year’s CPA Picnic, the Eudora Planning Commission at last month’s meeting began to discuss regulating roadside vendors.
The commission continued that discussion at an Oct. 7 meeting where it hoped to find a middle ground between allowing free reign for vendors and a policy that would smother the common practice of selling seasonal produce.

The Eudora USD 491 Board of Education met a group of students halfway on their proposal to change the district’s tobacco policy so that no smoking would be allowed at any time on school property.
