JV boys lose, win

The Eudora boys junior varsity basketball team lost 43-32 Friday at Louisburg, but the team rallied in the second half and beat rival Baldwin 42-41 in overtime Monday at Eudora.

Mack Hartwell scored seven points in the extra frame, and the Cardinals held on late for the victory.

Eudora (5-6) will play Gardner Friday at Eudora.

JV girls runner up at home tourney

The Eudora girls junior varsity basketball team finished runner up over the weekend at the Eudora JV Tournament.

Freshman boys drop two

The Eudora freshman boys basketball team lost 46-19 Friday at Louisburg, and lost 44-24 to Baldwin Monday at Eudora. Eudora will play Gardner Friday at Eudora.

Freshman girls fall at Louisburg

The Eudora freshman girls basketball team lost 44-25 Friday at Louisburg. The Cardinals lost 33-27 to Baldwin Tuesday at Eudora. The girls will play Gardner Friday at Eudora.

EHS baseball fundraiser announced

The Eudora baseball team is having a fundraiser to raise money for the upcoming season. The team will be selling raffle tickets in the commons area at each home basketball game for the rest of the season.

Ticket prices for the raffle are $1 for one ticket or $5 for seven tickets. The drawing will take place during halftime of the boys game against Spring Hill on Feb. 25. Participants do not need to be present to win.

Top prize is a Kansas University basketball signed by current players and coaches. Other prizes donated from local merchants also will be awarded.

Souper Senior Night announced

The community is invited to bring canned soup for the Eudora Food Pantry to the boys and girls ‘Souper Senior Night’ basketball games against Spring Hill on Feb. 25.
