Three from Eudora on KU's fall graduation list

Kansas University released the names of graduation candidates for the fall 2009 semester. The students will return in May for the traditional ceremony in Memorial Stadium.

The list includes three students who either graduated or live in Eudora. They are John Blake, master of business administration; Katie Kornbrust, bachelor of science in business/accounting; and Christina Wood, bachelor of arts/French.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?

As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
