KU lists graduates from Eudora
Several Kansas University students whose hometown is Eudora are among more than 4,500 candidates for degrees this weekend.
KU’s Class of 2010 includes 2,385 who completed degree work in summer and fall 2009. Because KU conducts only one formal Commencement ceremony each year, many of these graduates will return May 16 for the university’s 138th Commencement. More than half of the members of the Class of 2010 are expected to participate.
Faculty and candidates for degrees will assemble at 2 p.m. along Memorial Drive for the procession, which begins at 2:30 p.m. The program begins about 3:30 p.m.
If it is raining the morning of Commencement, an announcement will be made at 1 p.m. about arrangements for a postponed ceremony. The announcement will be posted on Sunflower Broadband (cable channel 6 in Lawrence) and on LJWorld.com.
The university has provided the names of these graduates who listed their hometown as Eudora: Rose Elena Bringus, James Andrew Coffman, LeAnn Marie Farrier, Megan Reneé Fryberger, Ryan Thomas Hays, Brendan S. Jackson, Shelby Jacobs, Margo Ann Lauer, Jessica Elizabeth O'Hara, Devananda Peruman, Tracy Michelle Spaeth, Sheena Rae Warrington, Mark Francis Watson, Adam Joel Wood and Sheila Polk Wood.
