Student from Eudora sings in Ottawa University choir that will perform at Carnegie Hall

An Ottawa University student from Eudora will sing in Carnegie Hall in January.
Theresa Harper, a junior, is part of the university’s concert choir, which will perform in the New York City venue along with four other groups.
They will sing as part of the program, Concert for Peace — Celebrating the Spirit of Martin Luther King Jr.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
