Charles E. Hart 1933 - 2008

Funeral services for Charles E. "Chuck" Hart, 74, Eldorado Springs, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel. Military graveside services will follow at Hesper Cemetery, south of Eudora.
Mr. Hart died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2008, in Joplin, Mo.
He was born Sept. 26, 1933, in Indianola, Iowa, the son of Charles Joseph and Nina Putney Hart.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Hart was an independent truck driver and owned Hart Trucking since 1994. He was a farmer and carpenter and worked for Kansas University and Kmart Distribution Center.
He married Erma Johnson Snow on Nov. 11, 1990, in Denton, Texas. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include five daughters, Corrine Hart, Indianola, Iowa, Cheryl A. Hunsinger and husband George, Lawrence, Phyllis Hart, Eudora, Patty Haller and husband Jim, Lawrence, and Kellie Villarreal and husband Max, Sanger, Texas; two sons, Joe and wife Karen, Olathe, and Doug and wife Jennifer, Pilot Point, Texas; a stepdaughter, Karen Bunney, Garfield, Ark.; a stepson, Dewayne Lee and wife Donna, Denton; a sister, Ruby Hart, Indianola, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to American Heart Association, sent in care of the mortuary.
