Winston A. McKee 1915 - 2009

Cremation has taken place for Winston A. McKee, 93, Hutchinson. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Mr. McKee died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at Dillon Living Center in Hutchinson.
He was born Dec. 27, 1915, the son of Robert and Beulah Allsup McKee in Dallas. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1934.
Mr. McKee was a self-employed farmer and had lived in various towns in eastern Kansas. He served on the board of the AAA Farm Program in Douglas County, and was a township farm representative to the Douglas Extension Council. He was awarded the Banker’s Conservation Award in 1973.
As a member of the Eudora No. 42 Odd Fellows Lodge since 1945, Mr. McKee had held many offices and had represented the lodge at state meetings. He was a member of Ruhamah Baptist Church in Rantoul.
Survivors include two cousins, Dwight Allsup, Sterling, and Jean Ann Kibbe, Hutchinson.
