I have traveled fairly extensively, and wherever I go folks have a very high opinion of Kansans for our hospitality and friendliness. Makes me proud to say I am from Kansas — because there’s no place like home!

Kansas is centrally located in the nation with easy and quick access to major cities throughout the United States. Kansans are also very friendly and down to earth.

I was born and raised in Kansas and have lived here my whole life. I enjoy traveling, but always love coming home to the down to earth people. I cannot drive by a wheat field without remembering spending summers on my grandparents’ farm in Lindsborg.

I am proud to live in Kansas because of Dorothy, Toto and Kansas University, and the values they represent.

I am proud to live in Kansas because of the friendly, caring people that live here. People will take the time to say hi to a stranger or to hold the door open for someone.
