U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore addresses the crowd at the “Driving for Quality Care” tour, a project of the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living. Moore joked about a man in the crowd whose t-shirt read "you're not young forever," saying he just learned how to play The Beatles' "When I'm 64" on his guitar. The tour made a stop Friday in Shawnee.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
