Bailey Scott drives for a layup against Ottawa Tuesday night. Scott led Eudora with nine points, but the Cardinals fell, 51-34. Eudora will finish the regular season Friday at Spring HIll and play its first round sub-state game against Spring Hill Tuesday night at Eudora.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
