...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR HEAVY RAIN REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM
CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN OREGON COUNTY...
AT 648 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
HEAVY RAINFALL HAD COME TO AN END ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA.
HOWEVER...RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AREAS AROUND AND JUST WEST OF MYRTLE
SAW TWO AND A HALF TO THREE AND A QUARTER INCHES OF RAINFALL LATE
MONDAY AFTERNOON. THIS IS LIKELY RESULTING IN MINOR FLOODING OF
CREEKS AND STREAMS WHICH FLOW INTO THE ELEVEN POINT RIVER.
RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING. LOCATIONS
IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE...MYRTLE. CREEKS...STREAMS AND LOW WATER
CROSSINGS WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE DANGERS OF FLOODING.
THIS ADVISORY INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING LOW WATER
CROSSINGS...
HIGHWAY 142 AT THE ELEVEN POINT RIVER.
