EXCESSIVE HEAT TO DEVELOP. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 90S
THIS WEEKEND ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES
CLIMBING ABOVE 105 DEGREES FOR THE AFTERNOON AND PART OF THE
EVENING BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.

ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI THROUGH 10

* TEMPERATURE...HIGH TEMPERATURES SHOULD REACH THE MID TO UPPER
90S BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES CLIMBING
INTO THE 105 TO 109 DEGREE RANGE BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
* IMPACTS...PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT CAN CAUSE HEAT
EXHAUSTION OR HEAT STROKE. REDUCED VISIBILITIES THIS MORNING
WILL IMPACT TRAVEL ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. INCREASE
FOLLOWING DISTANCE AND USE CAUTION.
