Because of a great turnout of support from our community, the Eudora Amateur Baseball Association fireworks stand was very successful.
Thank you to all of you who volunteered your time to help work. The approximate amount of profit is over $7,000. This will help buy new equipment and supplies for the organization.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
