Pinecrest news

Pinecrest residents will have a turkey dinner at noon Saturday in Pinecrest II clubroom.

Birthdays will also be celebrated with cake and ice cream.


  • Elva Jordan was transferred Friday from the Olathe Medical Center to Eudora Nursing Center.

  • Bertie Morriss took her daughter Merlene McCormick out for dinner Wednesday in honor of her birthday. Other guests were Price McCormick, Kurtis and Misty McCormick and Kasi and Kurtis, Travis and Brandi McCormick and Jace, and Kevin and Anna McCormick.

  • Cindy Hinkle, Bonner Springs, spent Sunday with her aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer.

  • Rocky and Betty Mason visited her mother, Elsie Mathia, on Saturday.

  • Tammy Lathrom and Barbara Miller and grandson Cory visited Gertrude Coon Tuesday at the Vintage Park care home in Baldwin City.

  • Darlene Randel asked me to put in the paper that they are doing exercise classes again at 8 a.m. Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays in Pinecrest II clubroom.

  • Beverly Johnson and I visited Gertrude Coon Saturday afternoon at the Vintage Park care home in Baldwin City.

  • My daughter Sharon Musick, Linwood, took me to the doctor Thursday afternoon.

  • My sister Carol Belles, Lawrence, and I went to the craft show Saturday afternoon at the Eudora Nursing Center.

  • My son-in-law LaVerne Musick came by Monday morning and put my Halloween decorations away. He got my Thanksgiving decorations out for me.
