Twenty-one Pinecrest residents and friends enjoyed the turkey dinner Saturday in Pinecrest II clubroom.
Emma Jean Taylor and Larry and Carol Scott donated the turkeys.
Betty Ryan was the only lady celebrating her birthday in November.
After the dinner, birthday cake and ice cream was served.
A dinner was taken to Tillie Bichelmeyer, which she said she enjoyed.
Tillie Bichelmeyer's nephews -- Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Lewis, from California, and Frank Lewis, Kansas City, Mo., visited her Friday afternoon.
Jack and Arlene Udelhofen, Ottawa, visited their aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer Sunday morning.
Cindy Hinkle, Bonner Springs, came Sunday afternoon to spend some time with her aunt Tillie Bichelmeyer.
Elsie Mathia moved Sunday to the Eudora Nursing Center.
Betty Ryan's grandson Monte Kamtfer and great-grandchildren Joshua and Brittany Kamtfer came Saturday to help her celebrate her birthday. Bud Neilson also was a guest at the birthday table.
I appreciate Beverly Johnson, Nora Dyche and Clarice Morriss coming Friday evening and early Saturday morning to fix the turkey ready-for-baking and all the other things we needed to do. Phil Cudney washed all the dishes. We couldn't have had the dinner without all the help.
