Youth groups meeting
The Eudora United Methodist Church senior high youth group for students in grades nine to 12 will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month at the church office, 1114 Spruce St.
The middle school youth group will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month at the church office, 1114 Spruce St.
All Eudora youth are invited to participate in one of the groups.
The Rev. Michael Tomson-DeGreeff and Aletia Vaughn are sponsors for both groups.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
