Pinecrest I and II Manager Carol Scott, will host a tree trimming party at 4 p.m. Saturday. Residents are asked to bring an ornament for the tree.

Darryl Hogan and Wilma Kelley took Betty Ryan and Bud Neilson out for lunch Tuesday to celebrate Betty's birthday.

Bob and Dora Neilson, Shawnee, took Betty Ryan and Bud Neilson out for lunch Saturday to celebrate Betty's birthday.

Randy and Beth Coableigh, Kansas City, Mo., spent Friday with her mother, Alta Vorhies.

Felicia Brown, Lawrence, visited her mother, Alta Vorhies, Monday.

Bertie Morriss sang with Gary Bichelmeyer's band Thursday evening at Cecile Monday's.

Clarice Morriss was a dinner guest Thanksgiving Day of her sister and brother-in-law Phyllis, and husband Ernie AskleOshel. Other guests were Tammy Galloway and daughters Cassie and Allie.

Clarice Morriss played cards Friday afternoon with Randy and Beth Cobleigh at the home of Alta Vorhies. s with Randy and Beth Cobleigh, Kansas City, Mo.

Larry and Carol Scott took Clarice Morriss and I to Kansas City Sunday to the 150th dinner celebration for Summundurwavot Lodge No. 3. The lodge was instituted in October of 1857 with six members and was named for Chief Summunduwat, a Wyandotte Indian by birth, but he belonged to the Bear Tribe.

My daughter Sharon Musick fell Sunday morning. She was taken by ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital where it took 21 stitches to close the wound on her knee.

My granddaughter Anita Musick brought her grandson Salim Smith to visit me Thursday.

I had the pleasure of taking care of my great- great- grandson Salim Smith for a little while Monday morning.
