The Rev. Michael Tom-DeGreeff will have a sermon series "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Prayer But Were Afraid to Ask" at 9:15 a.m. Sundays during January at its temporary location at Warren-McElwain Mortuary/Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L. Williams Drive, east on 10th Street on Douglas County Road 442.
The public is invited to participate in any or all of the sermons.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
