An undefeated Gardner-Edgerton took full advantage of five turnovers and proved to be too much for Eudora as the Trailblazers whipped the Cardinals, 41-3, in front of a raucous homecoming crowd.

New forensics class lauded by students, staff

The Eudora School District this year has added a speech and forensics class at Eudora High School that has staff and students looking forward to positive effects it could have on those who have enrolled.
USD 491 projects over budget

Construction consultant Don Swartz told the Eudora USD 491 at its meeting on Thursday that projects associated with the bond issue were exceeding the budget.
Pedestrian committee has safety summit

On Oct. 8, A small group of concerned citizens at a community safety summit heard from a panel organized by the Eudora Pedestrian Safety Committee. The panel discussed motor vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian safety issues throughout Eudora.
Safe room grant another district win

Two weeks ago, it was announced Eudora USD 491 would receive a grant for $567,000 FEMA grant that will pay 75 percent of the cost of building a tornado safe room in the new elementary school.
