Which part of your home needs the most spring cleaning?

The windows in our older home are always in need of cleaning. The reason is because it belongs to two older people.

We try to keep our flower gardens and vegetable gardens presentable, but after months of winter dormancy it never feels or looks like spring until we’ve cleaned the flowerbeds and vegetable garden areas.

Spring cleaning to me means deep cleaning. Slowly, I’m cleaning closets and getting rid of things I’m not using. I’m into recycling and thinking, ‘maybe someone else can use this.’ When I drive by the Goodwill store I always see the parking lot full of cars, and that makes me happy.

Definitely our garage and storage closet. We need to sort through everything and donate items we don’t use.

Sleds, snow boots and street salt need to be cleaned and organized in our garage. Bikes, golf clubs and softball gear will be the new seasonal clutter.

The garage is full of junk that needs to be removed and the yard needs a lot of work. Time to put out the grass seed and undo the damage of winter.
