Norge Jerome ( in Shawnee) says...
“I applaud the Supreme Court for upholding the Affordable Care Act. American citizens will no longer encounter obstacles, including bankruptcy, when seeking personal or family health care.”
Michael Sanders ( in Shawnee) says...
“Health care is a fundamental moral right. It is not a privilege. Kudos to the Supreme Court for doing what is right and just and for being able to look beyond partisan interests.”
Ray Erlichman ( in Shawnee) says...
“I never thought I’d see the Supreme Court kick the constitution in the rear. Add to that the recent executive order signed by Obama concerning nonprosecution of illegal aliens and we are in deep trouble.”
Angela Jeppeson ( in Shawnee) says...
“Unarguably, health care needs reform. Just because a plan is constitutional doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. I am not in favor of this ‘tax.’”
Gloria Bessenbacher ( in Shawnee) says...
“No, because the extent and implications of this law are not known. As a mandate, it was unconstitutional; therefore it will be a tax. Either way it’s an imposition.”
