Lighting ceremony reveals vital role of downtown

In only its second year, Eudora’s downtown holiday lighting proved it has legs. Attendance Sunday was unexpectedly impressive, with estimates that the crowd was triple what it was in the first year.

USD 491 to purchase classroom trailers

Battling increasing class sizes and continually decreasing space, the USD 491 Board of Education approved spending $225,000 from the capital outlay fund for new mobile units at its Nov. 10 meeting. The approved funds will be used to purchase four classrooms for Nottingham Elementary School and two for Eudora Middle School.
