Artist’s work on display

April 5, 2007

Ming Hsiang Kuo, whose adopted home is Eudora, is the current exhibitor at the Johnson County Central Library, 9875 W. 87th St., Overland Park. The work is available through the Community Arts Partners program.

Featured artists' works can be viewed during regular library hours.

Kuo's work has evolved from one that depicts crisp outlines and color of either interior or exterior settings, to one that exhibits simplified landscape settings and pushes light and dark to the extreme.

Artists are encouraged to submit an application and photos of their work or collections that can be on display for a month or more via the library's Web site.

Information and guidelines for submission are available at all Johnson County Library locations or on the library Web site at www.jocolibrary.org/artspartners.

For more information, call Jennifer Mahnken, Adult Program Services Manager, at (913) 495-2466.
