EHS dance team to have tea party fundraisers

The first make believe tea party will be from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 19 at Eudora High School. The Tiny Tea Party covers children ages 1 to 5 years old. They must be with parent or guardian and cost is $10 per child (no more than 3 children per parent).
The Fancy Tea Party is for children ages 6 and older and no parent is needed, but they’re are welcome to stay and play. The cost is $10 per child.
Proceeds will go to the EHS Dance Team.
Activities will include playing dress-up, dancing, singing, and making crowns, wands and wings. Everything will be provided, but children can wear their own costumes. Professional pictures will be taken and there is no obligation to buy.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
