Senior citizen holiday dinner

Eudora USD 491 will have its annual free holiday dinner for senior citizens at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Eudora Middle School commons. The EHS drama department will present a play after the meal. RSVPs are due by Nov. 10. To RSVP, call 542-4987 or send an email to cindyjohnson@eudoraschools.org.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
