Ethan Folks, a Eudora 10-year-old with autism, walks his bike up to his home Wednesday. Ethan and his family will be participating in Walk Now for Autism Speaks on Saturday for the third time. The goal of the event is to raise awareness for autism and to raise funds for autism research.

What do you think about a proposed ban on smoking in public places such as restaurants, bars and workplaces?
As much as I hate government interfering with our lives, I love the smoking ban. Going out in Lawrence is so nice without smelling cigarette smoke at your table while eating.
